I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I received my art education in Europe, more specifically Bosnia, where I was born and raised. I came to the United States eighteen years ago. I’ve lived in Fort Worth, TX for three years and in year 2000 moved to South Bend, IN.My favorite medium is soft pastel, but I also paint in watercolor, pencil, color pencil, ink and acrylic.

 

I paint variety of subjects, portraits and landscapes being my favorite. I am inspired by people of other cultures and with my portraits the intention is to compel in a viewer acceptance and compassion for all human beings. I am interested in other forms of art, such as stained glass, pottery and jewelry making. I also write poetry and prose.
