Vladimir Schwab was born in the Schwaby village, Ukraine in 1970.
He is primarily an oil painter working in impressionist style.
His passion for art started at an early age, while firstly he was more active in clay sculpture than in painting, drawing.
Vladimir completed National Academy of Arts and Architecture (NAOMA) with distinction at the School of Fine Art in Kiev in 2008.
He held his first art exhibit in Febrary 2008 at the Museum and workshop of Kavaleridze in Kiev. He has had shows in Kiev 2010, 2011, and his showing was well-received by his circle of supporters.
Vladimir has experimented with several mediums, such as acrylics, pastels, and watercolour, but oils tend to be his most preferred medium. Being a self-represented artist gives him the freedom and proficiency to express himself with oils, his work has evolved through his own personal experience. The old masters have always been his greatest source of information and techniques. He strives to improve his craft with every new landscape or wildlife picture he paints.
